First Class

Your first class will last between levels 20-40. You must first complete a quest to advance to this occupation. You can start this quest at level 19.

After turning 20 and completing your job change, your toon will be able to use/wear D grade equipment and learn a some new skills. At this point you will probably be ready to move away from the starting villages and into other towns like Gludin, Gludio, Schuttgart or Dion if you haven't already.

Useful Info

Once you get to the point where you upgrade your weapon to D grade, you can no longer buy your ss (soulshot) or bsps (Blessed Spiritshot) from the grocery store. You will now buy them off of other players or craft them using Dwarven craft shops. (if you are a dwarf artisan, you can craft your own). On Seighardt you should be able to find Dss and Dbsps being sold in Dion and Dwarven craft shops set up in Giran.

If you haven't already, now might be a good time to start looking to join one of the many clans on your server. They can be beneficial in helping you obtain Clan Oath Armor for D grade if you go through their academy program. They get rep points when you graduate for their clan so many clans are willing to take you at this level. You can find out clan info on the Official forums or in game by pressing ALT+B to bring up the community window. From there check the CLAN tab.
