Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When I started my character, I recieved something call soulshots...what are they for?
A. As a beginner, you will receive Soulshot: No Grade for Novices or Spiritshot: No Grade for Novices, depending on your class. Soulshots are for Fighter classes, and increase the amount of damage you inflict with your weapon. Spiritshots are for the Mystics, and increase the power of your spells.

You can drag the shots from your inventory and drop them onto your hotbar. You can now click on the icon to use them (or press the corresponding F key). If you "right-click" on the icon, they will stay on automatically and be used with every hit or spell.
If you run out of newbie shots, you can purchase more from the grocery store/magic shop. These will look and be named a little different from the free ones you recieved but work the same. The Blessed spiritshots add even more damage to your mystic spells

Q. I used my scroll of escape from a quest, now I'm in Giran and have no adena - how do I get back?
A. Go to the Luxury shop and talk to Trader Galladuci. He will send you on a couple errands inside town, then give you a scroll of escape back to your starting village.
Q. What do the different color mob names mean?
A. Basically it’s a way to tell you how difficult the monster will be for you to kill and whether or not it’s going to drop adena and/or items if you do kill it.
Dark blues are not usually worth killing, they are far below your level.
Light Blue mobs will drop items more often than dark blue, they are still far below your level though.
Green colored mobs still fall a bit below your level but there is no drop penalty on these mobs.
White mobs are within your level range.
Yellow is a bit above your level but you should be able to kill it.
Pink is quite a bit higher than your level, you may notice the drops don't fall as often on these mobs.
Red means you are probably in danger of dying if you try and solo this mob.
So to sum it all up, the best mobs to kill are green, white and yellow.
Q. Can I change my characters face, hairstyle or haircolor after I've already created them?
A. Yes, You can buy potions from dusk or dawn priests with ancient adena. You need to be part of the winning side during the reward period to access the shop. You will need to have 1000a and 24000aa for each potion you purchase.
Another way to obtain these potions is by common crafting them. The needed ingredients can be obtained via fishing. The recipies can be obtained from Clan Hall owners.

Q. Where the heck is Toma??!?
A. Toma will randomly spawn in three different locations.
1. 0n the little isle around the North coast
Port to Northeastern shore. Head Northwest across bridge following trail. Go to 24.5 and 43.5 where there is a river. Follow that river north on the left bank. When you get to the shore, you will see a island that is tall, but small in diameter. Go to the top of it. If not there, SOE.
2. At the NORTH entrance of Mithril mines
Port to Northeastern shore. Head directly south to the Mithril Mines. He is at the entrance at the bottom of the small ramp/stairs. If not there SOE.
3. The bottom pit of Abandoned Coal Mines
Port to the front of the Abandoned Coal Mines. Go into them turn left, go into big room, go into left corner where there is a ramp, go up ramp (Akaste Bone Warlord/Archers, Boogle Ratman, and Opal Beast), turn right, go straight until you see a ramp going down (Boogle Ratman Leader, Ore Bat, Pitchstone Golem, Corpse Candle). You will see a spiral staircase going above you. At the very bottom is one spot where Toma appears. (This spot takes no more than 2 minutes to go to from town). If not there, SOE.

Toma stays exactly ONE HOUR at each spot. If you miss him after going to all 3 spots, that means at some point in the 10 minutes that this should take you to go through all 3 spots, he has teleported to a new spot. Contrary to rumours, misbeliefs, and fairytales, he is never "missing." He is always at one of those spots. If you miss him, start over at the top of the list. You'll find him.
Recommended for trip. 3 Haste potions and at least 6 SOEs.
