Weapon Augmentation
All weapons that are C Grade through S Grade can be augmented through the Blacksmith in each town. You will need the weapon, an appropriate level Life Stone and gemstones. You can show your weapon to the blacksmith in town and he will tell you how many gemstones you require.
C / B Grade weapons require Gemstone D. - Buy in any town except starting villages.
A / S Grade weapons require Gemstone C. - Buy in Giran, Goddard, Heine, Oren, Rune and Schuttgart.
The augmented weapon cannot be exchanged, dropped, traded, sold, freighted, or deposited in the clan warehouse. However, private warehouse storage is possible.
Weapons with special abilities or an enchantment (+) can be augmented. It is also possible to add these to augmented items.
An augmented weapon cannot be used for crafting dual swords or be used to trade with the Blacksmith of Mammon.

There are four grades of life stones. (normal) lifestone, mid-grade, high-grade and top-grade.
There are ten available levels within each grade: 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70 and 76.
A Life Stone shows the level of the character who can use it. When using a Life Stone that is above mid-grade, the weapon will glow.
Life Stones can be acquired from hunting monsters and raid/boss monsters. You should also be able to find lifestones for sale from players in town.

How to Augment
Drag and drop the weapon to be augmented, the Life Stone, and Gemstones from the inventory to add them to the Augment window. Click the Augment button.

Bonuses Granted
The bonus granted during augmentation is random, determined by the levels of the Life Stone and the weapon. The success rate is 100%. The types of bonuses include:
Increased basic abilities (STR, CON, INT, MEN)
Increased battle values (P. Atk., P. Def., M. Atk., Accuracy, etc.)
Additional skill (Active, Passive, Chance skill)
The bonus will not take effect when the augmented weapon has a higher grade than the character’s expertise level.
Removing an Augment
The Blacksmith in town can also remove augmentations from your weapon. You will be charged an adena fee for this service. Any special ability or enchant status (+) on your weapon will not change when you remove an augment.
